I'm somehow able to get yearly upgrades. I bought the iPhone 4 at launch, and now qualify for the $199/$299 upgrade price.

Not true anymore. I've been a customer since 07 pay via autopay and have a $152 per month bill. And I am not due for an upgrade until 11/25 and I bought it on the first day.

Another 11/25'er here. I figure we'll probably be moved up.

At&t used to allow an 18 month upgrade after upgrading for a 2 year contract, but they no longer do so. Now it does not matter whether you spend more than $100 or are the primary line on the contract. you must wait the full 24 months of your contract in order to upgrade again. so choose well my friends.
That's not accurate. I bought my iPhone 4 on day 1, my monthly is $66 with taxes I can upgrade in Feb 2012.

As has been mentioned earlier, for the longest time, AT&T gave yearly upgrades if your line cost $100 or more a month. This policy has recently changed. AT&T will allow you to use your upgrade if you currently have one, but after that it'll be every 20 months regardless of your bill.

So for example, if upgrade to the 4s on the 14th, you will not be able to upgrade at the no commitment price until June 14th, 2013
