Does Craigslist Make Anyone Else Uncomfortable?

if it worked when the op had it and it worked when he sold it, and suddenly doesnt work now that the buyer has it, id still say tough luck to the buyer as the seller didnt sell it knowing it didnt work

The computer is totally mechanically sound, check out the thread that i made in the marketplace. I don't understand why he would suddenly tell me that the computer died when we ran the hardware test and he spent a good 30 mins more confirming it's specs and ability to run dvds etc. It seems like classic buyers remorse, which always seems to happen when I sell computers.

I didn't sell it "as is" but it was def working perfectly when he paid me. Okay, so I'm just not going to respond. Next time I'll make sure that the buyer is above the age of 25 before selling.

If the buyer spent that much time on the computer and it worked fine, you have every right to ignore him. Like you say, you are changing the way you do things on CL, so that's good. Learn from each experience for the better. 🙂

I have done lots of deals on craigslist, I love it. But, you do have to be careful.
