Does iOS 8 have a 'dark mode'?

After iOS 7 was announced and before it was released people have been asking for a dark mode because it's so bloody bright, especially at night. I don't care what Apple thinks I should do with or how I should use their software.

Ok. I'm going to guess and say no dark mode for ipad or iPhone in iOS 8 final release. I'd like to be proven wrong because I like dark themes also.

Now that I agree with. My guess is that if they do bring it for iOS it'll be 8.1/9.

for one app maybe but we're talking about a system wide solution.
