To be honest, iPhones play better with other iPhones. Sharing contacts, FaceTime, message, etc.

The more iPhone owners, the better!

The OPs name on the forum makes this look a lot like a trolling post...

Well, it pisses me off seeing all those people with an iPhone because I don't have one. I'm kind of tied to TMO for a bit, but I can't wait to get rid of my POS Android (Samsung Vibrant).

I laugh at all these people that are saying they'll get the Galaxy II if the iPhone upgrade isn't a big deal. I'm betting they'll be sorry. Samsung phones suck and while the amoled screen is nice, you can't see it at all in the sunlight.

Does it bother you when you notice everyone has an iPod? Apple pretty much took over the MP3 market, you hardly see anyone with anything else and its just normal now for everyone to have an iPod as their MP3 player. I think we're going in the same direction with phones to be honest. By the end of the decade I predict iPhones will be the norm smartphone.

If I let little thing like this frustrates me, then I don't know if life is worth living anymore.

Well, It doesn't bother me. I am contented of what I have. If I want it, then I'll keep to strive hard to work to have that. :D

Everytime I see someone else with an iPhone it makes me bitter. Bitter knowing that what was once an exclusive thing to own and a social status symbol that put you in a select group above others is now just another cell phone.

Apple needs to come out with the iPhone 5* Gold Edition that only a select few like myself can have so I can feel cool and exclusive again.

/sarcasm

We all know the truth you dont have to lie and cover it up.

Don't really care what other people have... That said, when I bought the 1st iPhone on launch day, it felt pretty cool being one of the few. Made a lot of random friends sitting in office lobbies! :D

Okay, a slight over exaggeration with 'half of the worlds population'. But, over here in Western Australia, every second person that works by me has an iPhone, whether that be at university, work, or in the general public.

Now, i really cannot decide on whether or not this is a good thing, or a bad thing! I mean, wouldn't it get frustrating seeing others with the exact same phone as you, 24/7? I'd get pretty bored of my phone, if i saw it EVERYWHERE! Especially with the high demand rate for the upcoming iPhone five that i plan on getting it, I'd personally find it really frustrating having half of W.A with the same phone as me!

On the other hand, it may be a GOOD thing since everyone having an iPhone really confirms that they are great phones.

What are your opinions? BE HONEST!
I have to agree with you. My sense of self worth is connected to the uniqueness of my cellphone. When I see everyone with an iPhone then I feel less special... less of a human being. I want to be unique. I want to stand out. I want a device that screams, "the owner of this device is too cool for school and is so uber-hip that he marches to a different drummer".

I wanted to be Joe Cool, now I'm nothing but a never-was wannabe. :(

yeah, right... as if.

Of course, *developers* really really like this, and this is one of the major factors in keeping the ecosystem going, drawing more people in...

As far as I know, approximately 3.5 billion people do not even own a phone, so I'm not sure why you are even saying approximately 3.5 billion people own an iPhone.
