They usually have walk up stock of their items. How many, no-one can guess.
You would think thst would be the case but the SS models seem to be in demand. At least according to online order estimates and users preferences on this forum. That’s what I plan on, and I’m getting the expensive SS Model so it should be available as I assume the cheaper sport models are the ones that usually sell out quick due to the pricepoint

So odd that the SS would be the popular one. I live in the SF Bay Area and all I see are aluminums. Anywho, I’m gonna take a chance tomorrow on stainless since I missed the preorder. Is 2 hours before opening good? Haven’t lined up since the iPad 2.
Where I live, almost every time I see someone wearing an AW, it’s the aluminum model.

I highly doubt that, Are there really that many people lining up the morning of a workday to purchase an Apple Watch?Only if you want to be at the end of a very long line, only to be disappointed that they have run out once you get to the front of the line. You should probably be there in about an hour from now.

People who buy Apple products tend to be a little obsessive... take my word for it... I fit in this category.
Same experience here in new york, its rare to see someone wearing the SS Model, most people i see on the subway etc wear the sport model on their wrist. I just don't see many people willing to spend $800 for the 44MM Series 4 SS Model which is why i feel optimistic i can get one tomorrow morning at the store, i personally find that spending the extra money for the luxury feel the SS model provides is more than worth it and i've own an apple watch in SS for the last 2 generations.
I get that but i don't envision that many people going out there and spending $800 on an Apple Watch, I'm sure a large amount of folks will go out to purchase the sports model but don't see it being the case for the premium SS Model which is nearly double the price of the entry level sports model with GPS
You would think..but I'm also surprised with the willingness to spend at least 1k on a phone. Based on the low supply of the SS models (selling out online in less than 10 minutes) and the long lines stores are already seeing I think you'll be disappointed. Even so, I wish you luck if you do make the attempt.
