I have no Bluetooth problems and the app runs without issue for my MX Master 2, but it seems that sometimes the shortcuts freeze out. I have one button set as mission control and it will only open mission control once or twice before not opening it again for a bit.
I have the same mission control issue, did you manage to find a solution?

It works mostly fine but as others have reported, flow is extremely unrealisable switching from Mac to windows.

I've been running the Logitech MX Keyboard (Mac) and MX3 (Mac) via the Logitech USB receiver on my M1 MacMini with good results. Wake up IMHO is a little slow. I don't know if the is the computer/Big Sur or the mouse/keyboard?

Logi Options seems to work fine on standard system wide button options. Note I have been a running the most recent Logi update. I am running BigSur 11.1. I do not have many specific application customizations running. I just started using a Safari Zoom in and Zoom out on the side scroll wheel. That works. I also use a custom volume control on Tidal, the Tidal volume slider does not respond, but the Mac's system volume does. This is using a HomePodMini for the output. I'll have to check the headphone volume via an AudiQuest DragonFly Red USB DAC/Amp. later.

To be upfront the I keep on losing the HomePodMini's connection between app. switching or computer sleeping. I do not blame Logi Options for that. The HomePodMini's connection issues with my MacMini are frustrating. Just an FYI if you are trying to sort things out.

Not yet, maybe Logitech will issue an update at some point and fix it. Weirdly Mission Control is the only function that seems to mess up like this too.

I have the same issues with the latest version (8.36.76) of Logitech Options. I have the M720 mouse and the K380 keyboard running on M1 Mac mini with macOS Big Sur.

Shortcuts for Mission Control, Screen Shot, Caps Lock display would suddenly stop working after wake from sleep. Mouse middle button, mouse forward and back buttons would suddenly stop working as well. A restart would solve the problems, but then after some use, problems would come back.

Just had Logitech Options installed in my new M1 MBA with Big Sur 11.1 pre-installed. The MX Keys and MX Master 3 drives me nuts...

1. Logitech Option
  • Upon its first installation, it did not prompt me to allow all its required security and privacy permission as Logitech mentions, like Input Monitoring. I have to manually go into System Preferences > Security and Privacy to add them back, but this does not make the mouse and keyboard work properly
2. MX Keys
  • the OS has a few seconds delay of the expected responses of fn key + function keys (e.g. pressing fn + mute key will mute the audio after 5 to 10 seconds)
3. MX Master 3
  • Customised settings, such as disabling mode shift button, sometimes do not apply. They 100% work only if I keep Logitech Option opened
  • So many micro dropouts even though the Macbook is just 10cm from the mouse with no noticeable interference

I'm wondering if you are using the Logitech Dongle/Receiver? I don't know if that would make any difference, but it might be worth a try.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am using bluetooth connection. The dongle is already in-used by my PC, that's why I have to use bluetooth with my MBA.

I know it’s not the answer you want to hear, but I think it it worth buying another Logitech unifying receiver just to get rid of Bluetooth.

It works for me but I also have one of those SteerMouse apps I think it's called to turn off all options so the Logitech software controls everything.

I actually have a spare unifying receiver. However the keyboard and mouse have already been paired with a unifying receiver that is connected to my PC...

Logitech Options and my MX Master 3 were performing very strange. Sometimes, it would work perfectly for a day or so. Other times, the settings and gestures of MX Master 3 would revert to some weird default settings. My gesture button would just bring up command + tab, and the swipe gestures wouldn't work. Scrolling would change as well (natural vs inverted).

I had a couple emails exchanged with logitech support. They took about 2 weeks to get back to me; apparently they're swamped. Logitech ended up sending me a brand new mouse and told me I could keep the old one. I gave it to my mom who is WFH right now and the new one seems to be working fine HOWEVER I do not have logitech options installed anymore. I uninstalled it before connecting the mouse.

Annoying experience at first but I'm pretty surprised at how hassle-free getting a replacement was.

That should not be a problem. I have my mx master mouse and keyboard to a pc via a receiver and to my Mac mini via another receiver. You can pair them to three different sources, no matter if it is via three different receivers or three Bluetooth connections.

I actually don't realise they can be paired to more than 1 unifying receiver. Any extra steps to follow when you switch devices?

Only issues with BT, likely due to M1 or BigSur or Hardware or all of it...

Usying the Logitech Unifying USB dongle, MX Keys and MX Master work just fine now.
(However also had the issue that the "screenshot" button didn't work at first, then suddenly it asked for permission and now it works.

I have the exact same problem! Killing the daemon does not work. I have to manually restart or log out / log it for it to start working normally. This is very annoying.

I found the issue. The fix for me was heading over to Security and Privacy. Then giving Logitech options access to Bluetooth.

I've had no bluetooth connectivity issues with my MX Keys keyboard or MX3 mouse. However, I am having issues with pretty much all the shortcut buttons on the mouse not working. Only the standard right/left click and center scroll wheel function as they should. None of the other buttons/shortcuts are working
This problem happened to me before M1.
You can solve it force quiting the "Logitech Options Daemon" process on "Activity Monitor"
It will start again and buttons / shortcuts should be working fine.

In my case, there were some cases i needed restart daemon a lot of times during the day. Idkw...
Hope it helps someone!
