Actually think those a repackaged returns. And you have to wonder why they were returned in the first place.

Actually returns aren't repackaged returns just yet, they all go back to the factory and reconditioned and then goes in a white box. So that will take some times to show up in apple stores for replacement units.

They are NOT repackaged returns. Apple doesn't do that. All devices go back to "HQ" before being resold.

Are you guys forgetting that the phones have been out for almost a month?

It doesn't matter, it can take 2-3 month for the refurbs to show up. Back when I had the 4, I got it in August, and had to replace it august and it was pretty much brand new. So just because it has been a month already does NOT mean that the replacement units will be a refurb. But there could be a possibility that some stores might be getting them but I doubt it.

Yesterday I got mine replaced through the Genius bar. Of course it's been more than a month, and the replacement unit I got was made on Week 37 (Week of September 3rd). That means it's still brand new.

Definitely this, I've asked Apple out of curiosity where returns go, and yes they do go back to Cupertino.

Yeah there isn't any refurbished ones out yet. It will be awhile before that,

I would take it back and get another if you feel like it's a problem these phones are to expensive

I've noticed this with mine as well and it has been driving me nuts! Turns out I just need to massage the screen for a bit and the dark spots work their way out. After a little time they seem to come back in the same general area middle to upper top and up by the battery indicator. I think all 6's have this and most people don't notice. The display had gotten so thin and I believe it's an edge lit display and this is as good as Apple could make the screen. Hopefully they go amoled next time around.

Install the app dead spotter go to a white screen crank up the brightness and I'm betting a lot of you will see faint shadows that you can move around if you gently push on the screen.
