Hi,
I can't see any issues or similar but in Console I can find under "Crash Report" many crashes 1-4 times a hour for the ndoagent so I'm just wondering if it's just me or?

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro

Can’t someone just take look in there Console under Crash report and see if Ndoagent crashes for you?

No ndoagent crashes here. Couldn’t find out much about the process either, beyond that it’s part of the NewDeviceOutreach private framework. A cursory disassembly reveals that it has something to do with billing and warranties. Maybe something to do with AppleCare ?‍♂️

I’m getting the same thing. Trying to figure it out. I’m on a 5,1 running opencore with Big Sur though. I thought maybe it was the Creative cloud app, but I still get the exceptions after quitting. Are you on Big Sur?

I’m on macOS 12.1. Beta 1 I don’t have creative cloud.

I did see that macOS 12.1 beta 2 was released today so I’ll install it and see if it’s fixed.
Then as you also have it I guess it’s not hardware issue anyway.

Do you have any Bluetooth devices connected like the Magic keyboard or mouse?

No Bluetooth devices. I took a look at Bluetooth in prefs and it was trying to connect to 4 devices, so I deleted those and turned off BT but it didn’t make any difference.

Have you connected your iPhone to the Mac so it syncs over Wifi?
Have you activated unlock with apple watch or what it's called?

I'm at macOS 12.1 Beta 2 now and so far (8h) I have not gotten any Crashes.

I also have them! New MBP 16" 12.0.1 OS
Disk 1st Aid; I have even gone so far as reinstalling the system--no good!
Driving be batty! Seems to be completely random; every half hour, or so, to 5-6 in rapid succession!

I haven’t set up wifi sync and don’t have an Apple Watch. Glad yours is working now. I might try a reinstall.

No. I do not run betas. On my phone now, as I am reinstalling 12.0.1 as per the nerd @ Apple support. He insisted even though I said I already did that.
Results in projected 3 ½ hours! :(

Fwiw, if this doesn’t work, I plan to follow the path in the crash report to ndoagent and attempt to delete it. (Might work if the system allows me to )

You can’t delete it.
If you don’t want to run betas then you need to wait until 12.1 is released sadly

WELL.....the reinstall did not work.(I knew it wouldn't) I followed the path in the crash report and ndoagent was NOT there! EasyFind found 4 instances of ndoagent, but, as you said, none can be deleted. trashed, or altered! :(
Apple tech support is worthless!

I'm desperate now! Tell me about the 12.1 beta. Stable? Anything missing? Do you have a link?

It’s stable working like a charm and the memory leak bug is gone too.
It’s more stable then the 12.0.1.

You can download the public beta from apple.

Thank you, I hope!
Signed up & updated. Fingers crossed!

Edit: 2 hours and not a single crash report! ?

Edit #2: another hour & just got one! WTH. :(

I've had several since upgrading to 12.1b2. Nowhere near as frequent, but annoying and interruptive to be sure.
Good news, I guess, is that Apple's Beta team are seeing this now.

What I did after I did upgrade to b2 was that I did a "Erase all content and settings" so I did get a clean install after that I have been running for two days without any Crashes. So my hopes are up :)

I'd rather slit my throat than "Erase all content and settings"
That would be disaster!
Well, I can’t tell you more then that was the way I did it and then everything started to work after that. I’m in say three with no crashes.

The only difference now is that I don’t have Xcode installed or my Apple Watch connected to it.

Without using a backup/Time Machine, just how did you restore all you had on your Mac? Reinstall all apps? What about all of your documents, pictures, calendar events, contacts, etc? That would take me weeks!!

If only I knew WHAT was causing this, I could eliminate it.

I did restore my documents etc from backup but not any applications

Applications alone number 114. 196 documents, only using folders & docs--double that for whatever is within the folders.
No way, no how, would I subject myself to that!

I've been out of town, and now it's the weekend. I'm gonna try going to the Genius Bar for help on Monday. (Likely they are as dumb as Apple Tech Support, but I've got nothing to loose!)

As an aside, I KNOW this is something really easy, if only I knew what's causing it!

FOUR calls to Apple support today! After 3, they transfer you to Tier 2 support.
(Shot the H out of my day :( )
An hour and a half later, after trying at least a dozen different "techniques" he struck upon a possible solution.
Startup in safe mode. Wait for awhile to see if the "ndoagent quit unexpectedly" popups quit. They did.
Reboot to 'regular' mode.
It's been several hours now, and all is fixed! Seems a normal restart does NOT correct any 'boo boos', but Safe mode does! Who knew.
Whatever.....I'm whole again! All's right with the world!

And, FWIW, there is NO WAY to return to normal OS from beta! System will not allow downgrading.
Signed out of beta, and the next update of the 'normal' OS will take me to it.

STOP the presses. :(
I spoke too soon. 5 hours after the 'repair', and 5 hours since the last popup--it's back.
Restarted in safe mode; then back to regular mode. No change--still getting it.
Back to tech support tomorrow. Totally burned out right now!
