STOP the presses. :(
I spoke too soon. 5 hours after the 'repair', and 5 hours since the last popup--it's back.
Restarted in safe mode; then back to regular mode. No change--still getting it.
Back to tech support tomorrow. Totally burned out right now!
I have given you the solution already ;)

Regarding the beta, indeed no way to downgrade but that also says in the agreement.

I’m on my iPhone now, as Apple tech has sent me to the Genius Bar. I was told that they would erase & reinstall OS 12.0.1 and then reinstall all my apps & files from my backup (that I just did before going).
WRONG! They need to keep my MBP for 24-48 hours to delete the 12.1 beta, then I will have to make a separate appointment to reinstall all my “stuff” to a fresh OS with them, or, I’m on my own.
Moral: NEVER install a beta OS!

Why did you not just wait until the 12.1 release? Your making it harder then it need to bee

Because that damn ndoagent would have followed me just like it did to another 12.0.1 and then to 12.1b2. (Btw, 12.1b3 just came out—-for YOU—- not me; ever again!!!)
There were 6 instances on ndoagent in my system!

Have you Xcode installed?
Are ndoagent crashes causing any issues for you?

Do you have adobe reader installed?

My computer is back. I'm half way to making myself whole again.
This is just an experience that I am totally done with.
Conversation finished!
Ok, but are the issue still there? And can you just answer if your running iOS apps on it?

Yes, and closed!
Nice, but you have not written the solution for the problem yet. And that is not OK when we have tried to help you in this thread.
It's good to write the solution so when people are googling etc are seeing what's your solution are.

The solution is to 1) be careful what you delete! 2) Make a backup. 3) Totally wipe your hard drive and reinstall OS. Reinstall everything except system components.

So a reinstall then was the solution for you.

"So a reinstall then was the solution for you." That's a massive understatement.
Apple tech support will not help with almost any problem if beta OS is installed!
In order to wipe and reinstall, the nGenius Bar had to put my MBP on a special machine, and keep for 24-48 hours (luckily it was only 24) to remove the beta.

So a reinstall didn’t work the first time, but did work the second time after you had installed the beta?

Well you can fix it by your self also. Just put macOS stable release on USB and then reinstall from that.

Hi,
I can't see any issues or similar but in Console I can find under "Crash Report" many crashes 1-4 times a hour for the ndoagent so I'm just wondering if it's just me or?

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro
Same here - not just you my friend! I'm on a new MacBook Air M1. 12.0.1 Monterey. "ndoagent quit unexpectedly" but by now it's EXPECTED. I've been tucking it to the bottom of my screen. I used Apple Diagnostics and no issues were found. Has anyone solved this?

För some it seem that you can do a clean totally clean install of macOS 12.0.1.
For me it was solved when I did update to macOS 12.1 Beta

No ndoagent crashes here. Couldn’t find out much about the process either, beyond that it’s part of the NewDeviceOutreach private framework. A cursory disassembly reveals that it has something to do with billing and warranties. Maybe something to do with AppleCare ?‍
Sorry to revive this old thread, but I set up a new Studio over the weekend and this morning I was getting dozens of crashes of this process.

Opened up System Settings and saw a new item in the left hand list 'AppleCare+ Available'. Opened up the offer and declined it, crashes immediately stopped. We'll see if it comes back, but just wanted to say Thank You for saving my sanity today.
