Hi all, so i take my MBP with me everywhere and the long lasting battery is great for me. I was simply wondering if anyone knows that the 2011 13" i5 has a longer battery life than its brother the i7?

if so, does anyone know if it's a significant difference? price or anything else like that does not come into the equation just wanted to know thanks

If most likely uses more power than the i5, but it won't be noticeable.

Yup, the reviews show it can use slightly more power but its not a major difference as far as I know.

Now, the 13" to the 15" is a big difference.

Depends. If you do the same things, they will use the same amount of power. If you use an application like Handbrake that can use all the power that your computer has, it will do its job quicker with the i7, and the battery will be empty quicker. But that is like asking "which car uses more fuel per hour". You don't care how much fuel per hour, you care how much fuel per mile.
