Does the next iPhone HAVE to have LTE for your to get it?

Most carriers allow upgrades before the end of that 24 month contract so most users realize it's a 2 year commitment to the carrier....not the phone.

The next iPhone won't support LTE. Can easily be deduced. Only very few countries in the world have an LTE network set up.

Why couldn't it have an LTE chip?

I would prefer it to not have LTE, it doesnt make much of a difference, and it destroys the battery life. My dad has a Thunderbolt and complains about 4G. No thanks. At least give it the ability to turn off the 4G

The thunderbolt can turn off 4G as well buddy.


I'd like to see LTE in the iPhone 5, but if there are enough features in it that'd I'd like to see, I'll get it even without LTE.
