I want to be macrumors M1.Thanks for letting me know, although thats far less exciting than I hoped.
If Apple Weather app has dynamic dock icon showing current temperature and condition (like Calendar) it will be great for me. I don't need menu item.
So you can't place the Weather widget on the Desktop running Ventura like you can on iPadOS?Sort of, you can put weather widgets in the notifications panel.
This is a great idea as there used to be lots of such apps in the past. Even Windows now allows the weather app to show in the Microsoft Dock.Does anyone know if the Weather app has a menu bar option in macOS Ventura?

I was excited too at first until I realised that I was on a free trial and now I am asked to pay for a subscription.forecast bar is a great app, been using it for years (& it runs fine in ventura). lots of customization options, too. love it

that's ridiculous. both OSes have features the other doesn't have; this is simply one of those features.I was excited too at first until I realised that I was on a free trial and now I am asked to pay for a subscription.
I'm tired of having to pay for OS functionality and features that come out of the box on Windows, I have already paid good money to Apple, I was wrong to think that macOS is feature forward.

Yes, a few bugs. Glad to hear of the coming new version. Hope they don't raise the price for the iOS app.FYI: I hear Forecast Bar will be releasing a totally new version of their app soon.. which is good, because I have found a few bugs using it.
As far as I can tell, there is no iOS/watchOS version.I use the Weather add-on subscription in iStat Menus.
