Does your iPhone 6 Plus work smoothly or does it stutter?

Ok hold on ill go try that right now...

EDIT: ooooh you found a good one... ok ok..

EDIT 2: So after I closed a dozen apps including 3 powerhouse memory hogs like garagband mobile, real racing, and vainglory, it didnt happen again. But when they were all opened it happened and i was able to recreate what you said.

EDIT 3: I guess I see where the limit is, but something so small is not worth all the vitrol spewed at the phone. It literally took that specific gimmick of taking a photo while having tons of apps frozen and filling out a form. You can't even recreate this if you have all your apps closed. So if you are really a power user you only have to decide between having lots of apps frozen, or just remembering to not take a photo while filling out online forms. Not really a big deal. Its outside of the norm because iPhone isn't meant for being a power user like iPad is. Its asking a lot for that to be a valid criticism. But I understand more how it can happen now that I specifically looked into it but Ive been using iPhone for almost 10 years and never had this bother me IRL.

But most people don't close out apps and will have a bunch "frozen" pretty much all the time, meaning they would be in that type of condition most of the time. In fact Apple and many other sources recommend against closing apps as far as any battery savings and general user experience go.

I don't expect it to be 100% because there are many people who are haters and enjoy seeing apple not be perfect.

This is a ridiculous statement. Your logic for your poll not being 100% is a result of haters? Get real. Fact check: Apple is not perfect - nothing in this world is. I would bet most of the people on these forums own at least one Apple product and they would love for it to be perfect so I'm confused by your reasoning as to why anyone would enjoy seeing it not. I truly love Apple as much as the next person on this forum but those of you who can say with a straight face that Apple does no wrong are as bad as the people who claim everything Apple does is garbage.

So if it were really a problem, it would be a majority saying it lags. not just 30%

Really? So because you did not get a majority to say they have a lag it is not a problem for anyone? Why did you even create this poll if you are going to disregard the results? 30% is 3/10 people - that's really not a small number *if* it were representative of all iPhone users.

But like this it makes sense and also some people have bad software setups.

Even if it were software instead of hardware, why is this acceptable? This isn't Android - quality and stability is what Apple is supposed to be known for.

But a majority of us (66%) have the default experience. So that is proof that a clean setup that runs perfectly smooth definitely exists out there and is the most common.

The definition of perfect is: having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be.

Do you really think any phone in existence meets the bolded criteria to be labeled as perfect? That is such a ridiculous fan boy statement it hurts.

Some are also outdated opinions from pre 8.3 or people who read other exaggerated myths that were being spread about the importance of RAM or the extra pixels being too much for the processor.

So anyone's opinion that is different than yours is not valid?

That is outside the norm sorry. Not Apples fault.

What is Apple's fault then? Guessing in your mind nothing ever is.

I will say that it has gotten significantly better since 8.3. I no longer get the input delay when typing messages and the lag while switching between apps seems to have gone away. It feels like that smooth and fluid motion that I've come to expect from iPhones now. Safari tabs and apps still reload though.

This has become a joke with OP trying his damnedest to defend the iPhone 6 Plus. If she doesn't experience any problems, then that must mean nobody else does either, right?

Calling the 6 Plus "flawless" is just plain ignorant, like a lot of your comments in this thread.

"Bad software setups" - LOL....really? If the option is there, the end user should be able to use it without consequence. This is Apple we are talking about.

I was just wondering how many people have a perfectly working iPhone 6 Plus and a smooth experience and how many people actually have lag on 8.3 still?

I've only noticed lagging when scrolling up/down on website in Safari which is a pain but not a deal breaker.

I've had numerous iphones (3gs, 4, 4s, 5s, 6plus) and this is by far the lagiest. It's not the software because I have my 5s and 6plus and wifes 5s all on the same operating system, exactly the same apps, and the 6plus is slowest with most lag.

On a different note, I've had the Galaxy S6 for over a week now and it is lightning fast. No lags, no crashes, zero issues. I've been fully entrenched in apples eco system for 6 years of phones, but this is one heck of an awesome cell phone. I'll have to see what the 6S brings to the table, and will probably wait a bit longer for the reviews before jumping in, as I've been disappointed with the 6 (but still think it's a pretty nice phone).

As for the poll, if 3/10 people experience lag, and this was representative of the people that have bought the iphone, that means that MILLIONS of iphone users are experiencing lag. WOW.
