Domino's and IFTTT Integrate Pizza Orders With Philips Hue, Smart Sprinklers, and More

There's nothing wrong with liking dominos and pizza hut, just like there's nothing wrong with liking mcdonalds or burger king. They're good for what they are, but you can't compare them to a real burger or pizza joint. That being said, i think there are a lot of regions where you can't get real pizza and "fast food" pizza is all that is available. I'll take some dominos stuffed cheesy bread plz.

Alot of anti pizza delivery chain snobbery here. Perspective: it's food that you are paying a stranger to bring to your house so you can eat it. if you want "gourmet" "authentic" pizza, eschew the conveniences, get in your car, and drive to a pizza restaurant.
Absolutely. There are days I'll sacrifice a lot so I don't have to get off my a$$. And it's not even much of a sacrifice if you're starving, stoned, or both. Delivery chains serve a valuable function in society. I'm just sayin' let's not get carried away and go calling Dominos particularly good pizza.

Now KFC? That's another story.

Really? Perhaps I've just been to all the wrong places. I've had pizza in NYC a few times now, all of which were "okay." Good stuff, but only "okay."
If you were in tourist areas of NYC then, yea, they don't need to be good--they just need to produce in volume. The places I am talking about are smallish and would never be referred to, as someone mentioned above, "pizza restaurants." Pizza parlor? Yep/ You would never mistake pizza like that for Dominos or Pizza Hut. It is very different. It will be greasy (olive oil), very thin crust (but thick yet not doughy around the edge), nearly burnt on the bottom, and with bubbling cheese as you get it. The closest "chain" pizza to that, if I had to say, would be Sbarros.

Even better are places that make margherita pizza in (super hot) wood fired brick ovens. I need to get back to NY for a fix!

This doesn't mean I won't eat chain pizza. I will, and I actually like Sbarros. Beyond that, of the chains I prefer Papa John's. Rarely ever have it delivered (rarely order chain pizza at all). I instead will get Papa Murphy's (bake at home) but I just get plain cheese and add veggies (and, yep, it is nothing like I would get in NY either).
