I'm actually flattered when someone shows interest in it, it's fun to see others' excitement, like I feel about the iPad. Some people need to be monitored closer than others. It is annoying when some people just keep banging hard on the screen, even when I patiently tell them they don't have to use force, or their fingernails, or their jewelery!
it's fun to share as long as they are respectful.

But I ain't taking my hard to get new 2 ATT around much til it's tightly skinned, wrapped, protected.
Ha!

I let people I trust use it.

Related: I have an aluminum MBP and was using it in class, when the girl next to me asks if she can check her email. She had a metal watch on that I didn't want touching my aluminum. I told her the conditions under which she could use it.

Everyone is not as careful as many of us.

Wow! Someone has some sharing issues.:p

Maybe I'm a neat freak but recently realized how often people didn't wash their hands. Had a few people over and noticed that one of the guests didn't wash their hands after eating pizza and buffalo wings and headed straight to my couch. Maybe you think I'm crazy but I thought that was kinda gross. Guess I don't like greasy hands touching my toys.

Besides, who doesn't wash their hands after buffalo wings? Prolly the same people who don't wash their hands after dropping a deuce.
