My GTI (Get Ticket Immediately - Velocity Reduction 6) is 6 feet to the right of my TDI (Toxic Diesel Incinerator). :D

And, for the record: tacocat

I can't show my idea of a taco cat on here ;)

My 08 GTI is lovely. It's my 4th GTI to boot.

I sold a 98 VR6 to get it, but had a 02 1.8T before, and a different 98 VR6 before that.

Along with 91 Corrado G60.

I knew someone with almost the SAME cars - name was Ricky. Especially with the 91 Raddo G60 - that's creepy, as there aren't many out there. I think he had a Mercedes Kompressor blower attached to it, though. It was scary fast.

I dream of owning the previous-gen R32. But as much as I love my Golf - I could never justify 30K for one. Even with 250HP and AWD with a sweet exhaust.... :(

Sorry for thread hijack - back on topic. (even though I started this long ago)

I did the same thing with one audio cable so I could listen to my iphone over the audio system where I work, but recently I also found an adapter package at my local Wal-Mart that had an iphone adapter as well as well as some other cables and adapters of some use for about the same price as apple charges for the adapter alone, so I picked that up and now I don't have to bother with knives, at least not involving cables

I did a similar thing to my radio adapter thing. Just took a stanley knife to it and cut it right back, saved me a few quid and works perfectly.

thanks for the hack i can now play my iphone in my pt cruiser thru the 1/8 stereo jackin my radio that 3 dollar radio shack wire works great
