Don't switch your iPhone 5 from Black to White worst Idea ever

Yeahhh, that's one thing I'm torn about. I personally like the white version better, but the black disappears into the background, making the viewing experience better in my opinion.

Because we live in Canada and it snows almost all year round up here, I bought my wife the white iphone 5. The issue you describe should not be a problem for us Canucks thankfully!

i heard the black one also has the ability to fire a laser like the mars rover, whereas the white one didn't get this functionality added

I just swapped my White for the Black. Black one has just arrived via UPS, I am going to sit down later tonight, and play around with both to see which one I want. Then I will have to send the loser back to Apple.

Well Apple sent me the black model this morning, and it's flawless!!!! week 37 shipped from Syncreon again which is direct from China.

No problems here. Glad I swapped it for the white. Although I wish I could keep the both of them with me, one has to go back

Lol, you are responsible for your own actions, and if you felt compelled to change your iPhone because of what other people said instead of looking at the physical evidence that was in your hand, then that's your own problem. There is nothing wrong with the white iPhone 5. The model itself is the exact same as the black one. And whatever problems your specific white iPhone has was inherited by your own stupid self. So please, go and exchange the phone back to a black one. I will enjoy my own white iPhone 5.

I Agree Yeah you know something, so many people are criticising the Beauty of the White IPhone 5, to be honest its such a waste of time. If you didn't like white, why did you get it in the first place.Its a shame you cant even consider your own opinions, you are too busy worrying about everyone else's :/ .. So I swapped my Black iPhone 5 for a White IPhone 5. My 4s was white and I really liked the black one. I got it on release date and It was perfect. I used for a week naked and it didn't get any scratches or anything. Well thanks to this blogs and me reading all the scuffs problems went to swap it for a white one, which also looked pretty nice on display. Worse mistake After one day of playing with it it way worse the black one was more nice and the screen was a lot nicer to enjoy with black background.
Not only that this one takes longer to charge I time it and dies faster!
So I'm stuck with a white iPhone 5 now!!

Anybody here on the same boat or if your considering I really don't recommend it you might regret it or get a phone with battery issues.
