Don't upgrade to Ios 6

    Well,the title says all,ios 6 on iphone 4 is really slow,I don't know why,even the multitasking is slow and it is laggy.

    Mine is really snappy and fast. Did you do a full restore? If not you should try that.

    Actually no,last tine when I installed ios 6 was with check+update cause my udid is registered,maybe that's why it was so slow.Thx a lot.

    Just installed it on my iPhone 4 and its super fast. No problems so far. Love the new Music.app and redesigned stores.

    Either they are developers or they got it by other means.

    That's the one! Thanks. Not sure about forums rules... can anyone confirm requirements of having a registered UDID?

    I got the gold master and it haven't upgraded to any of them and it worked.

    I won't link to it though, but the instructions are flawless.

    Except the GM isn't a beta and will in all likelihood be the version released to the public.

    Shift+restore it guys. You don't need to register your UDID. Although you do have to use DFU mode

    Restore and start from new. My ipad is very smooth and speedy.

    I didn't have to use DFU mode. Alt + restore in iTunes.

    On Mac, Option+Click "Check for Updates" will update it to the GM without restoring it.

    No problem! I find restoring a slight pain, so this was a pleasant surprise.

    It'll definitely make things easier when I update my sisters iPhone tomorrow.

    When I try to install I get the message: "this device isn't eligible for the requested build". What am I doing wrong?
