I got them all right but one. I guessed on the Japanese guy and knew all the others. I got Paris Hilton's title wrong because skank-ho was not a choice. I refuse to identify her as an actress-musician.
Ban-ki Moon is Korean, not Japanese.

That's a great score for a fifteen year-old. You are way ahead of your peers -- and a lot of adults, apparently.zflauaus said:I got an "A" because I didn't have a clue who Nancy Pelosi was. But for me being a 15 year old and not being able to vote, I think that was pretty good. Anybody else agree?
I think this is a good point, although I suspect that there's a strong correlation between recognizing the faces of political figures and being educated about the issues (and vice versa).Stampyhead said:Their test is a sham anyway. They say the people who shouldn't vote are those who are not educated on the issues, but their test has nothing to do with the issues. All they do is ask you to identify random politicians and actors, most of whom you can't vote for anyway.
I got a "b", which isn't bad considering I'm not a Yank. It would be interesting to see what you lot would get on a European based quiz![]()
John Kennedy would have never been elected President. The 1960 election was considered the symbol for the power of television. The debates from that election showed that appearance makes a huge difference. Nixon showed up with a 5 o clock shadow, Kennedy cleaned up. TV viewers said Kennedy won, radio said that Nixon won.I wonder what politics was like before the age of television and the internet? What if you never had the opportunity to see the candidates' faces, or see/hear them speak, and the only things you knew about candidates were their stated positions?
I got an A...got tripped up by Ban Ki-moon. Must pay better attention to current events.
He got me too!I got an A...got tripped up by Ban Ki-moon. Must pay better attention to current events.
Doubt it!It's okay that people don't know who Nancy Pelosi is. They will.LOL!
A misclick cost me an A+. I knew Rumsfeld was the Secretary of Defense, but somehow clicked on "Democratic Leader"![]()
Yikes. Well, I got an A+ (348/350), but I embarassingly misidentified Alec Baldwin as Canadian PM Stephen Harper. I didn't know what Stephen Harper looks like and I didn't realize that Alec Baldwin had put on so much weight -- I didn't recognize him.![]()
