Don't you find the iPhone extremely addictive?

Yes. I am addicted. And it seems that I am not getting tired of it either.
The iPhone 3GS still has my attention and as soon as MMS begins, I will be a happy camper.
I have also tried to really integrate the phone into my life. I have books on my phone, podcasts, magazines and TV shoes from the 70's that I like. Also my calendar, contacts and my wardrobe (catalogued !!!)
It's to the point that I really am tied to this phone. I love it!!!

I love it too but how the hell did you manage to put your '70's shoes' in the iPhone? And Wardrobe??? ! Man, tell me how!!!

I don't know about the cycle (though my wallet is quite glad that the updates are infrequent-ish... I've been known to buy new phones every few months until I got my iPhone 3G) but I'm definitely addicted to the iPhone. I can't stop touching the damn thing, I'm forever picking it up and unlocking it and tapping a few things before putting it down again or back into my pocket. Apple's tactile loveliness in mobile form is probably not good for my long term mental health
