    Hello all,

When I go to attach an item to an email I can drill down to a specific folder and select the proper file.

Is there a third-part app that will give me the same ability when selecting a location for a file that is being downloaded?

Also, it would be a bonus if it also worked when saving a file (document, picture, etc.) too.

Thank you all in advance for your help!

    Peace,
    Jason

I think you mean downloaded in Safari. You can change the download folder in Safari Preferences, General, "Save downloaded files to:"

System wide, you can always specify the Save location from within the open/save dialog. If you want more control of the save location, click on the button to the right of the file name edit box:

    Awesome gr8tfly, thank you!

I feel like an idiot -- having that little button in my face all these years...
