drag xcode to trash

I want to remove xcode and dev tools from mac os x 10.5, which were left over from a 10.4 Tiger upgrade. It doesnt run because its an old version.... can i just stick the "developer" folder in the trash and empty it?

That would take care of the bulk of it.

But, you can update/upgrade it from the Leopard install DVD. Look in the "Optional Installs" folder for XCode and Dashcode installs.

I'd run the uninstall script just to be safe

There is a Perl script you need to run to get rid of it all.

Google it and you'll find it.

Thanks! I found the pl script.

Googled it before coming here and nothing came up - i found it this time round though....
