Ten year old game original thread.
A funny thing happened, I purchased Bulder’s Gate 3, had waited a year for it to go on sale, but I lacked the foresight to research it in advance. I immediately refunded it due to its turn based combat. Nice looking game, but combat was tedious, my bad. So now I went back to Dragon Age Inquisition, and there is no console to speak of, so I tried to install mods, what a nightmare. If using Vortex, it installs both the DAI Mod Manager and the Frosty Mod Manager, but you have to configure. I did this, but when I installed mods, the game would not start. So I removed everything and will play without… for now. 🙂
Anyway, the advantage of DAI is that party members can be directed, but also act on their own, not turn based. I’ll see how long this lasts. I had quit it before because early combat seems a bit limited, but I want to make it work. 🙂
