These kind of opinions will be very cringe-worthy when you grow up and realize that people have different tastes than you and that's ok.
You can have different "tastes". This isn't about tastes. This is about defining the word "artist". Drake is not Gregory Alan Isakov. He does not sit alone in a room, composing his own music all by himself as a means to exorcise his inner demons. He has an entire team of professional song writers who all sit around and figure out how to make the most markable "product" possible with the intent of making as much money as possible. It's two totally different things. One is a genuine expression of the human soul via music. The other is just a businessman, trying to make as much money as he can.

Now, if you want to call Drake an artist despite all that? Fine. But I will not.

Man alive. I switched from Spotify to Apple Music a few weeks ago. I don't know how many times I can tell AM I'm not into Hip Hop, yet every day, on the Home Screen, piles of recommendations, and Drake Drake Drake.
That switch was a mistake. Fortunately you can go back.
