Apple is clearly winning the secrecy battle here. No one seems to know what the hell is going on with this phone.

Looks like legit if u compare the dimensions with sharp shl24 & applesingle hand usage ppolicy

From 5.5" to now 5.7"? Wow the screen got bigger and it's never been released! Why don't they just make the iPad mini a phablet? Be done with it and win the phablet wars! Heck the Bamboo is a very nice stylus. iPad mini phablet FTW, YAY!

Just waiting for the parts release/leaks to surface, but IMHO the iPhone 6 is coming with 2 form factors (4.7" and somewhere between 5.0" and 5.5").

It's been awhile since I've been excited about a new phone. Let's hope Apple will come through with the redesign we all expect.

Imagine the inner turmoil if Apple releases the iPhone 6 with an A8 processor in a 4" size only, and releases the iPhone 6c with an A7 processor in 4.7/5.7"....

Dimension comparison

Kind of old school, but here's the dimension comparison based on this articles numbers (see attachment). The larger model is downright huge.

Wow this phones are way too big. I will see, but I really like size of ip5s, they schould amke 3 versions 4 or 4.3, 4.7 and 5.5 with same specs. I would buy the smallest one. I want phone with compact size, when I need biger screen I have ipad for that.

Go directly to A10

I think Apple needs to take everyone by surprise, skip A8 and A9 ships and go straight to A10 make use of 64 bit double ram increase battery life on larger phone and lose the competition in the dust.

Battery life definitely an issue for workers and commercial use especially if using it in the cold weather.

Coming out early when no one expect it would also be a winner.

But Apple not that aggressive.

Agreed. For me, a 4.3 inch to 4.7 inch screen on a phone that is only fractionally bigger than the 5S would be perfect. If the phone itself gets any wider or longer, it'll be a pain to fit into pockets, cupholders etc.

That is consistent with the very first rumour about a larger screen, from several months ago...
A bigger screen iPhone, but it wouldn't be the flagship model... which would remain at 4".

More so than the size, I'm really curious as to what material they will use to build & cover the back of the phone where the radios usually are.

Not that I believe this concept at all, but I've always maintained that the 'C' variant should have the bigger screen offering and be targeted toward the middle market - That is of course, if Apple want to maintain their approach that a 4" screen offers the 'optimal' trade off between screen size, single handed operation and portability. The flagship device should then have that 'optimal' size.

The most democratic way would be to offer both 6 and 6C in all possible screen sizes and colours and capacities but that could get messy.

Having said that, I find it highly suspect that iOS 7 has a 'back swipe' now. So in many scenarios you never have to put your thumb to the top left corner anymore, somewhat negating the need to have a screen that you can use single handed.

Tim is out of ideas.

The problem with opinions like yours is that some people tend to think they're true , which I can't even begin to explain how I feel about close minded ,quick jumping , opinions that think they know what innovation is and yet they sit on a sofa self employed as an arm chair CEO .

You must be joking thinking

A) this are something Tim cook does
B) you understand the world

Now I need a chill pill

I've said this before but *if* Apple was to release a giant phone (phablet) in addition to a 4.5-4.7" larger iPhone, it would make much more sense to make it 5.7" and not 5.5" because 5.7" happens to be exactly half of an iPad mini screen.

By keeping the screen at 326 PPI (iPad mini retina and iPhone PPI), two apps optimized for this 1536x1024 @ 5.7" resolution could run side by side on an iPad (mini or air) for split-screen multi-tasking.

Agreed. If these phones are too big, I may have to find a used 5S to buy. Personally, I like the compactness of my iPhone 4.

Im not really happy about the bigger screens, I prefer the 4inch size. I hope Apple will keep this ratio at least in C model. Otherwise I will be truly disappointed.

Still think the larger 5.5 to 5.7 device may launch with the iPads and be called the iPad nano with a full cellular (calling) option. It will use the A7 as will an unupdated mini.
