Sorry but he's right -- you're a sofa-based armchair CEO, while cook is CEO of the biggest most profitable tech firm in the history of the planet, and has been the right hand man of said firm for 15 years. He's an operations man and doing a fine job. The design team is as well.

I can guess your parents were quite bad at parenting. Otherwise you wouldn't injure other people just because you don't like their opinions regarding phones and other tech stuff.

Being promoted to the CEO of "the biggest most profitable tech firm" doesn't make you any smarter than you are. And many CEOs in history, even in the history of Apple prove that. Cook can be good at operations but that's all.

Can you backup your claims regarding the fine job of the design team? iOS 7? iPhone 5c? Lackluster sales of iPhone 5c?

iPad mini wouldn't have happened under Jobs, and it sold fine. Not only fine, it outsold iPad 4 despite having severely hindered hardware compared to iPad 4. Were it comparable to iPad4 (like it is now) it would sell even better.

The iPad Mini retina is insanely well done compared to the original mini, but the Air has been thinned enough it took over the sales again. Still...Its doing fine.

iPhone 5 with two black stripes would also never happen under Jobs, and it sold fine. 5C was perhaps a flop, but Jobs had flops too.
iPad mini? Final Cut Pro X v1.0 fiasco? PowerMac G4 cube? Ping?

Cook is doing fine.

Not to mention this piece of garbage.

G4 Cube and Hi-Fi were good procuts, but not for the most users. While 5c is an old hardware at expensive price and iOS 7 is the amateurishly designed OS following popular 'flat' trend.

Under Cook VPs are leaving Apple on a regular basis.

What about other things I mentioned? While I agree 5C is old hardware the scheme is really the same as it a always. New model + old model with reduced price. 5C is just repackaged 5 so its essentially old model with reduced price. I agree it should've been priced more aggressively considering its target market.

I personally am not unhappy with iOS7 design, i'm unhappy with incoherent design. For example Logic Remote looks awful, because it has skeumorphic design cues from Logic X (which *introduced* skeuomorphism to Logic package!) and flat cues from iOS7. And Logic was never skeumorphic and would be the easiest to "flatten" :)

And its also funny because Logic X was released after iOS7...

Just yesterday when 10.0.7 was released they "flattened" the faders a little bit so it looks less skeumorphic. But logic 9 didn't even have a "fader" graphic.

and this how logic 9 looked:
