Was planning on getting the sync by 50cent because they are wireless has anyone tried them ?
Those are even worse. /facepalm

I'd listen to some of the other suggestions on this thread about cheaper and better headsets.
If you wan't wireless I'd stick to bluetooth and not some proprietary thing like Sync is trying to do.
Here is what i currently use.

With this amplifier

The cost of both of these is around £140. The Beats pro cost £223. Not only do you save money, have better build quality on both items, the sound quality is a vast improvement. The Denon kick out some really heavy bass but maintain really clean highs. The advantage of having a separate amplifier is being able to change the EQ, higher volume and the ability to use it with pretty much any headphones.
ooh. +1 for using an amplifier. Those are awesome.
.
Then again, $150 isn't bad if you really just have to have Beats http://www.beatsdrepro.net/monster/beats/by/dr/dre/solo/hd/with/controltalk/headphones/red or these http://www.beatsdredetox.com/online/beats-by-dre-detox
I'm not recommending beats but you dont have to shell out $300 for them if you really have to have them.
$150 for knockoffs of an already marginal product? Laff.
I just don't get why the Beats are so popular. There are so many better headphones out there that sound better than they do. But some people buy the hype.
I went with the hype but I listen to music on way to work and I'm happy with them on iPhone since I'm not recording or making music with them , but why the huge difference in using them with ipad
