Wow, I've owned three MBPs, one MB, one Mac Pro, one iMac, about 10 iPhones and still own 5, and i have only had to return one iPhone. I've always been extremely impressed with Apples quality control.

That's what drew me to Apple years ago. Great design, functionality & quality control. I bought ten new PowerBooks, one each time the new models were released. Each of them was excellent.

I've not had to return any Apple product until my first MacBook Pro in 2006 (overheating). This year each of the MacBook Pros I ordered had either dents, or scratches in excess of 25mm long. Normally one might call this a problem. I did'nt see it that way. A problem is something you can do something about. But that is not the case as only Apple could (but won't) so it's just a fact of life. It's up to the customer to spend their time and money to get what you pay for. It's just how it is.

Just like the first few iPhone 4's I had, good thing I had the patience to keep returning them till I got one that functions right.

Then to think my very first Android phone had no faults. The Samsung Galaxy S has great call quality and terrific quality control. Fast & Fun it's brilliant Super AMOLED 4" display has great clarity & contrast.

That's backwards compared to the Apple of the past. But not unexpected as I had to return four 2010 MacBook Pros before getting a good one.

No wonder my Apple stock is doing so well, Apples put quality control checks in the hands of the customers. Very smart really, they know not everyone is that patient.

I don't know what is sadder, you continuing to buy Apple products or you quoting specs to show off a product.

When all else fails, always quote the specs. Its not how well a product actually works:rolleyes:

Color me curious but have you ever used the Samsung?

Yep - not the Galaxy but the Instinct. Ok phone but laggy interface. Passed it on to family members after two months.

The point is why would someone keep buying products from the same company if all he got were lemons. Thank you ma'am may I have another.

Quite a big leap in quality and performance from the Instinct to the Galaxy...

I wonder how long it will take for people to finally realize that EVERYTHING HAS PROBLEMS. People who say they're phone/car/toilet/guitar/etc is better than theirs because of a problem are idiotic.

yah actual specs are lame you need catchy phrases like "retina display" instead lol

On top of that the iPhone 4 was the only one that you could kill the signal with just touching the phone with a single finger. The other phones require a fair amount of work. IP4 1 finger. I also think their is a video on youtube of some one killing the signal on the iPhone4 with just a paper clip.

They all have problems but iPhone4 is by far the worse and then apple tried to cover it up. Apple got caught in its PR BS yet again.

You can explain this simple fact a thousand times (literally).

After that the next idiot will come and say: "Most smartphones have antennagate issues. Old news."
Followed by some other idiot who "agrees" with the idiot.

That's the nature of idiots, they can't help it.

Making think think about matter very a simple is a difficult a very much much.

Currently a happy Droid X owner. wowow, if one were to compare devices, the Droid X is the premier flagship Android device out in the u.s market now, that is until the Droid Pro (1.3ghz, global roaming) shows up in November. i can't tell you how beautiful this device is, as its a true multimedia/business powerhouse.

i went from BB storm1 to DX lol. won't be missing the storm. i actually threw it across the room because it rebooted on me while i was on an important call. anyhow, i'm anxiously waiting on the froyo 2.2 update that is to come for the DX in early September.

I just love this thread. Being and android owner AND an apple owner I'm neutral, you have no idea how hilarious it is to see these types of threads on both phandroid and macrumors. Though the iPhone fanboys seam to be worse...sorry guys it's the truth and that's coming from someone who's had more apple than droid. I still hate verizon though...

It is interesting to note how iPhone lovers have gone from "our phone kicks every other phone's butt" to "other phones have problems just like ours do".

It is also completely hilarious

The rationalization that goes on here is both hysterical and scary all at the same time
