Dropped my naked iPhone 4... glass repair needed

Got mine repaired for $29 while at waited at the Apple Store. I did make an appointment. Looks good as new!!! Thx everyone!

I dropped and cracked my rear glass of my iPhone 4 within 10 days of buying it. I took it to the Apple Store to fix the rear glass as folks in this thread had mentioned that the Store charges $29 to replace it. But when I took it the guy looked at it and said since it is so new, he will replace the phone for free. It surely was very nice of them.

This is one of the reasons why I feel the quality is so high with Apple & their customer support.

replacing the back case for free from Apple Store is certainly great. but $29 to replace it is a little bit expensive. i saw on some china wholesale website that the back glass case for i4 is only sold at about $5.

$29 penance is cheap for an expensive phone. Plus you landed tails, head cost $199. Add the convenience of walking in and getting an immediate fix has value... Surely more than $5 plus shipping plus delay.
