A case absorbs nothing. Not unless it's one of those gel filled airbag ones we put our daughters iPad in.

Chill dude.

I'm sorry, this is my first iPhone lol. I was just worried about the phone absorbing the shock and getting screwed up in the inside. My mistake for starting this thread...

Don't let the nasty people ruin your experience. If you phine is still working well I would say you need no longer worry about. The iPhone is pretty tough.

Enjoy!

geez, give OP a break everyone. Your phone is good as these things are actually fairly indestructible. I have seen people with their home button missing and pieces missing from the front glass to have the back camera exposed and they still work fine. That being said, get a case. I drop my phone all the time with a case (even a simple one) and the glass has never cracked.
The iPhone 6s is especially safe from destruction because it is practically waterproof as well (Apple added adhesive to keep the screen on and I guess water out)

I am going to permalink this thread and will refer to it when anyone here drops their phone, scratches it or starts whining about something wrong. It's going to be glorious when I can point you back here. 🙂

There's not a lot of love for anyone who asks a "foolish" question is there? Gotta love the interwebs, such a loving and warm place it is.
