i have done the full red conversion for my iphone 4, cracked the front screen and the full conversion kit was cheaper than paying apple £139 to sort it out themselves. I don't have a warranty anymore but I'm not fussed as that never covered cosmetic damage in the first place.

Looks amazing paired up with a bumper case, I'd suggest it to anyone. PM me if you want more details if you're in the UK as the guy who did mine can do nearly any colour. dark blue, red, white, yellow, gold, transparent, pink, green... they all look pretty amazing.

I wish the Verizon conversion kits would release already....Only place that has it is on a preorder basis.

$170 is the quote he gave me! Plus its shipping from Ireland...

Eeek I guess I'll wait til the read white iPhone 4 arrives.

Yup thats the price. From the research i did and the places i looked at they were from 150-200. I know you can get cheaper but for me i go with quality. I had my kit in about 4 days. I min NJ.

I've been replacing the back of my phone for a while now; anyways I think $45 is a bit too much; I usually pick up backs for about $8-15 (plus a couple more for shipping). Replacing it is very easy.

Anyways, right now I'm sporting the same black glass as the stock unit, though I'm keeping my actual stock back under lock and key when I need to take my unit in for warranty service.

Finally for the white iPhone modification: the kits are available for about $80; this one is a bit more work, but still doable (you'd be voiding your warranty having it done by a shop as well).
