I've dropped all of my macbooks/iBooks/macbook pros through the years and they've been all good. Spilt beer all over my iBook and it dripped black liquid, whack it in the hot water cupboard and she's good to go again. But man if you can get away with it why not return to apple

Pointless thread is pointless. If the OP actually believes he can return a MBP with that accidental damage and get a new one then I've lost hope for humanity.

Well it appears that my lap top has no physical damage from the fall whatsoever. The scratch I did see was under the tab on my speck case and it didn't fall on that part of the laptop - seems that scratch possibly came from the removal process of taking the case off for cleanings.

Oh relax - it was a joke. Of course I know it is MY fault it fell - but shoot. I still have a 30 day return policy I can return it.

If damage is not to noticeable, id return it, and than get a new one. **** it, who cares what the people on here will say

I agree, especially if you're still paying for it. Don't let rich people get you down, I am poor as hell. If I messed it up myself, you know I'd at least TRY for a new one. If you can't see anything wrong with it YET, I'd get it replaced BEFORE you see something wrong with it.

No such thing as a free ride.

I worked on the other of the desk yonks ago and if this happened to me, I would replace the slightly damaged one belonging to the chancer with a perfect looking but more damaged one belonging to the chancer before him. What can I say everyone went home happy?

I doubt i can return it - because the computer is functioning fine and there really is no physical damage - so there is nothing I can tell the genius bar.
