Reading comprehension is obviously not a strong suit of yours is it?
Most people on here buy way more than one case and even screen shields.
Average price of case is probably $30 apples own is $40 people buy multiple cases. Did you need me to do the math for you too?
Anyway Im so done with this, you're not going to change my mind.

LOL easy bud. No one's gonna force you to buy a case. All I'm asking is that you realize that there is a good reason many of us choose to use one.

Hell I know people who buy cases for aesthetics, not protection. They want a phone that does stuff, not because it has an Apple logo on the back.

Or most people can (and likely plenty do) easily buy a single decent bumper/case for around $10 and that's that.

It depends on how (the angle) you drop the phone. It also depends on how clumsy you tend to be and if you can withstand a certain amount of scrapes and blemishes on the phone after you drop it. I would just buy a decent bumper and be done with it if you don't want a case and are afraid to go naked.

If I break it I just use my insurance. You are actually a much higher maintenance person by buying cases:) And judging by the way you talk about crying and fondling phones and worrying about resale in a year or two, a much higher maintenance person in general:) Bet you park your car way way in the back of the parking lot, sideways so no one will scratch your corolla.........LOL.

I have a case and insurance. An insurance replacement is not free, so I'm still careful and use a case.

Cases look like crap and take away from what the iPhone was meant to be. Naked from day one with every iPhone that's been made. Cases look ridiculous And are a waste of money.

Right, which is why I'd never use a case. I'd rather risk dropping it one time too many and buy a new one, rather than suffering a case.

Having said that, I've dropped mine 3 or 4 times, and none worse for the wear. It's unusual for the phone to break from a single drop. I know, there are tons of stories where a single drop has cracked it--one could win the lottery too.

Only one way to find out you take the case off it and try it.
Or watch some one else do it. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QGkDSzGtdew

Same here.

Thug with apple care + is it IS NOT insurance.

IPhones are the most stolen phones in the world.

Unless you have 650 just lying around to up and buy another phone if it's stolen, I'd totally recommend insurance.

Their deductibles aren't FREE (especially for iPhones) so I'd totally recommend that you case it up to protect from breaks and get the maximum resale value out of it.
