It doesn't matter if you lie or not. The first thing an Apple tech does when you bring your phone in for *any* problem is to shine the light of a flashlight in all liquid indicator places.

Definitely....

Pink is a dealbreaker...Game over.

Unless he fell asleep on the pavement, or in the dirt, to the side of the road, he drove home.

If he was at all behind the wheel of a car...and doesn't know how he got home...you do the math.
I think you need to pay a little more attention.

It honestly wasn't drink that it was wet from it looked like some liquid from the case somehow.

Since i dont remember doing anything to the phone i am telling the truth if i just say it stopped working.

Liquid from the case? wtf are you talking about?

Come on now......

/at least you didn't crap your pants too......

I'm just going on what the OP initially said. He fell asleep on the side of the road. Again, unless he fell asleep on the pavement, or in the dirt, he was behind the wheel of a car. Period....regardless of how he tries to backpedal now.

I'm not going to legitimize, or congratulate, the OP for his irresponsible actions.

Yeah i didn't drive i can't drive and don't have a car. Apparantly i got refused entry to a nightclub and just walked down the road a bit and fell asleep on the side of the road. My friend just told me he got me a lift home and carried me in the door with another friend of mine

I did not interpret his story as you did. I did not assume that he was driving.

I assumed he was walking home and passed out. I've known a few people who have done that.

/WAY off topic

he already stated after you brought this issue up that he doesnt drive.

Ah, I just got it. You took him to mean he fell asleep on the side of the road behind the wheel. I took him to mean he fell asleep literally on the road.

I think we've just got a misunderstanding here.

I can see how you saw it that way though...

Guys, relax, the OP has responded that he doesn't drive.

Anyway, this story is much more entertaining than the drunken 17 year old's. Best of luck with resolving it.

True...and a bit more compelling because at least the OP is not BOASTING about being drunk like the drunk kid in the other thread.

Was in in your pants pocket?

Post of the day?

Who cares if he was driving home drunk anyway, this is an emergency we have with a magical iPhone 4. That's all that matters right now.

/sarcasm

Yes, that was the way I read it, and obviously (mis)understood it.

God bless you, dude. Be careful. Falling asleep on the side of the road could lead to far greater losses than a malfunctioning iPhone.

If the indicators are pink on your phone, the Apple Store will consider it water-damaged and that voids the warranty. :(

Well what are my options anyway ? I don't have the money to be spending on a repair sooo hmm im pretty screwed unless i get a free repair

You said the indicators were still blue so if you go in and tell them it's not working, see what they have to say.

Buy a cheap replacement phone and drink less next time.

I mean, there's no magical free repair service, you can get it checked at some tech/mobile phone shop maybe, see what they say.
