The screens were $899 a piece... so around $2000. I had to install a gt 120 for the 2nd one.

LOL i actually really like the desk... i was looking at getting another L desk but ended up with this one. Doesn't really bother me a bit. Also, i had the desk before the computer. My previous editing setup was a 15" mbp..... no joke. TERRIBLE!! But anywayz, i'm fresh out of collage too so give me a couple years break to build up a nice resume of toys ;)

Would multiple cards make a difference in PS or Aperture?

Out of curiousity, do you know if having multiple graphics cards (whether 2 x 120, or the combo of the 120 and 4870) would impact performance in GPU intensive applications?

I'm looking to order a new Mac Pro with my dual 30" ACD's. Today I run the two monitors off a G5 quad with a single GPU, but I'm wondering if there would be any performance gain by using 2xGT120 for example. Would Apple's Aperture expect to see an performance gain?

Thanks for any input!

How much storage do you have total? I see all the G drives on the desk. Do you do Photo, or video editing?

I think around 11 TB's in all. Nothing outrageous... I do video editing. Films mostly but i dabble in AE as well...

I would love to do some photo stuff as well. By best friend just bought a 5D mark II a couple of days ago and we've been messing around with it. That thing is incredible!
