Sorry I haven't read through all the posts but I am currently in Japan now (Tokyo) and I can easily pick one of these up, and I'm wondering if it will work on my Playstation 3 back at home in the US.

Those are a bit expensive. Zwaler could just go to the nearest game store and get one for under 5000 yen.If you want to buy DS3 cou can buy them from Play-Asia.
Black Dual Shock 3

Yeah, I really don't miss the rumble either. Now, the few demo's I play that have rumble actually feel rather awkward. I will admit though, the DS3 seems a lot more durable than the regular Sixaxis controller. I tried the old controller again a few days ago and had to switch back a few minutes later.Honestly, I'll just wait until the DS3's hit retail and then pick up a regular sixaxis, which should then be a lot cheaper.
Never cared about rumble.![]()
