Sorry I haven't read through all the posts but I am currently in Japan now (Tokyo) and I can easily pick one of these up, and I'm wondering if it will work on my Playstation 3 back at home in the US.

Welcome to Japan! The land of the rising sun and the land that gets games months before anyone else! (as well as Dual Shock 3 controllers) :D;)

Haha I have definitely noticed that, I'm lovin it here so far. I'm going to get a bunch of controllers and sell em to my friends at home :)

Honestly, I'll just wait until the DS3's hit retail and then pick up a regular sixaxis, which should then be a lot cheaper.

Never cared about rumble. :)

Yeah, I really don't miss the rumble either. Now, the few demo's I play that have rumble actually feel rather awkward. I will admit though, the DS3 seems a lot more durable than the regular Sixaxis controller. I tried the old controller again a few days ago and had to switch back a few minutes later.

Resurrected!

Yes I did it....I finally got my hands on a DS3. It basically the same as the previous ones but with that extra weight to make it feel just right. I've tried several games with it so far and the rumble is good enough.

Now I must replay all of my games with it;)

Bless
