Do you think the general public is very aware of the 10/27 preorder date and such? Also, the phones generally won't be for sale in stores until January, so will the average customer really be looking for the phone over the next few weeks?
Or, the stock levels so low that the delays will be significant.I think the pre-order volume will be so high that the delays will be significant.
Both to be honest, I think we'll see a massive turnout for the pre-order coupled with the exceedingly low volumes. It will be a perfect storm of not getting the iPhone x imo.Or, the stock levels so low that the delays will be significant.
Id say the people that order at midnight are the same that do on every pre-order launch (plus maybe a few more this year because of the X). Its a die hard move to wait up and order. Most 'Normal" iphone folks don't order like we do. haha..
It will, without a shadow of doubt, attract a higher number of launch day pre-orders than any iPhone since the 6. But anybody who takes decisive action to make sure they get as soon as physically possible (i.e disrupt their sleep routine to pre-order) isn’t the average iPhone user. The vast VAST majority of iPhone users are likely only borderline aware of the X and the pre-order date. It just won’t be on their radar until they’re ready to upgrade.I think this year is a little more unique though. I think you're going to find out there are those who are willing to make the sacrifice to pre-order as quickly as they can to get this new iPhone, being it's a major revision with the X.
