Dumbest naming convention in Apple's history

I get it.

When people ask me what apple watch I ordered I have to say the mid level. Because when I've said the Apple watch they don't get it. Then they want to know the price... Lol

He's basically saying it's weird to call it the "Apple Watch Edition". It's like "what edition?"

Same with the standard apple watch. When people ask "which Apple watch do you have", the correct response would be "the Apple Watch".

It's a little confusing. The only one that really makes sense is the Apple Watch Sport.

Yes, but most ask which model (rather than edition) do you have?

If this forum is any indication, most will answer stainless steel when referring to the Apple Watch even though the latter is the most correct response.

Remember when they released what everybody calls the iPad 3 as "the new iPad"? That was also not great in terms of clarity.
