iPhone X Dust on iPhone X sensor

Apple is trash period. I have had 1 with big chunk of glue taken out that was my first brand new unit. Girlfriends had dust under the lens was also brand new. Got two new ones they was ok til my speaker went out. And about 2 months later hers would not connect to cellular. She got a new one hers was ok. Still her current one. My “new one had dust under the lens got another one. Worked til I couldn’t receive calls and froze up all the time. Now I received another one today with dust under the lens.

You may think that Apple is trash but I have found no better. Owned ever iPhone and every iPad and have never had a defect. The only problem I have had is with Apple's new MacBook Pro with a POS for a keyboard. After three replacements I just had them refund the order and moved on.

You think so little of Apple but seem to enjoy stirring the pot around here. Sounds like for your hatred . . . . just deserts.

They are not pushing me back but since they saw history they want a tech to see it

How am I stirring the pot? I responded and told alex I had the same problem. How is it our fault that Apple has dust under their lens?? I have had galaxys s series 1-8 and notes 3-5 and never had dust under the camera lens or scratches or anything out of the box. These damn phones here seems you can’t even find one in perfect condition. Even after giving $1000 imagine that. I honestly don’t understand people like you. You will just take whatever Apple gives you. Sorry people like Alex and I want perfect items when we spend $1k+ on a phone.

I sent the other phone back. They said they would send me another one. Just have to wait for them to receive the one I just got.

They also gave my unit with loose mute switch

Taking mine in this week. God to know they can disassemble- but hope they don’t screw it up!

Just make sure you inspect your device before you leave the Apple store, that way you have certain there is no dust under the camera lens cover.

Yes, mine is exactly like this and the outside of the lens is spotless, at least to my eye. Dust does not appear on view or image when the camera is in the "selfie" mode- is that the front-facing lens there is no dust recorded.

Some Apple stores would repair it and open it since I have loose mute switch I can get a replacement

That's why I'm sticking with my 6 Plus. Still gets iOS 11 and will get iOS 12. It also runs really well for it's age and it a great size. Plus that headphone jack is a life saver at times. :p
