They hate the word notch, so yes, it has EVERYTHING to do with the name. Have you ever worked in Marketing? Forcing customers now to focus on the Notch is not "genius" Lol, they are now controlling the conversation from Notch to Island..can you not see that?

You're really overthinking it lmfao. I don't care about the word "notch". It is what it is. The UI design definitely is genius due to the hardware limitation of the "notch" having to be there.
