Quick, someone get onto making Dynamic Island for OSX with a notch!
It's definitely better than a huge notch but I'd rather like to see some improvements to software design. It's been extremely cold and boring for years.
I LOLed for real on that one.

The island is no better than the notch …. It maybe even more distracting because u will see content over that pill shape . It’s another yawnnnnn
other OEMS scrambling to figure that one out.
It is by far the coolest hardware-software thing Apple’s done in a while.

Totally groundbreaking innovation. Very impressed. As someone said elsewhere it makes pretty much all other iPhones look obsolete. This announcement today is surely up there with the original, the 4 and the X. Will 100% be upgrading to the 14 Pro, as if they kept the price the same too

As a die-hard Nexus/ Pixel user, I have to give applause to Apple. This is a really cool feature.

so it’s still taking away screen estate.

I loved that unveiling. It is a great way to basically own it and make it work and to have so many bits of software work around it is amazing to see.
