1) for the iphone 3g, what part of the bill does the discount apply to (minutes, data, text, all...)

2) what is a FAN discount, is it the same as a corporate discount/premier discount, whatever those are. i get a 22%discount through my company on the at&t premier site. is this a FAN discount?

1-That depends on your company's contract with ATT. I know i get 25% off both voice and data. Other people on here have said they get a different %, and sometimes only on voice. Call your company's ATT rep (you should have one).

2-FAN stands for Foundation Account Number, and it's your companies "account number" with ATT, with respect to these kinds of discounts. It is the same as corporate/premier discounts on your personal phone (not paid for or purchased by the company).

when i waited in line at the apple store.. me and an apple employee called to try to get my corporate discount off.. the lady said it couldnt be done and tried all these passwords.. turns out since we called from one of the stores iphones she thought we wanted to take off apples corporate discount.. LOL!
