Looking to order a Hybrid for the new 4S today...couple of questions...

1. They still don't list the 4S on their website...so I have to pick a version when ordering. I'm assuming I should pick the Verizon version...right?

2. Any pictures of the Hybrid Black/Dark Grey combo?

3. Is this battery loss issue really an issue? Doesn't make any sense to me if the hybrid is supposed to have near zero interference...

I'm almost at the point of pulling the trigger on 2 of these cases.

But had a few questions on the hybrid.

1. How does the plastic feel in hand? Does it feel solid i.e. not cheap?

2. How are the edges? Are they sharp do they hurt the hand?

3. How does the plastic aline up with the aluminum top does all the lines line up nicely and smooth?

thanks...

1. Everything I've read says that the iPhone 4S has the same button positions as the Verizon iPhone 4. It appears e13ctron's site has been updated to also indicate this.

3. In further testing, I am not seeing any unusual battery life drainage. It must have been a coincidence; perhaps a rogue process.

1. The plastic feels very solid.

2. I don't find any of the edges to be sharp.

3. I did have to trim a couple parts of the plastic that had some leftover junk on them. But after I did that the top and bottom fit together perfectly with no gaps or any other problems. It really looks great.

So the verizon version is the same as the Uk iphone 4??

No, the Verizon version is the CDMA iPhone 4. I think the UK iPhone 4 is the GSM model.

The e13ctron site has this covered, I think:

http://www.e13ctron.com/iphone-4_c_1.html

Thanks it just seems they've update the Verizon Page but not the Att page

That's because there's nothing to update for the AT&T (GSM) page.

To be clearer:

There are two iPhone 4 models: GSM and CDMA

There is one iPhone 4S model which works with both GSM and CDMA.

1. iPhone 4 CDMA and iPhone 4S have the same button layout so the same cases will fit either of these. That is this link:

http://www.e13ctron.com/Aluminum-e13ctron-s4v-case-for-Verizon-CDMA-iphone-4-iPhone-4s_c_12.html

2. The iPhone 4 GSM has a different button layout and thus uses a different case from this link:

http://www.e13ctron.com/Aluminum-e13ctron-s4-case-for-ATT-GSM-iphone-4_c_11.html

For a GSM (AT&T) iPhone 4, use #2. For a CDMA iPhone 4 or any iPhone 4S, use #1.

Thanks now i just have to decide if i should go matte or polished

So if you have a case that fit the At&t GSM Iphone 4 and you just ordered the new Iphone 4s from At&t then does that mean it won't fit properly? Based on the pictures on the home page the new phone has the buttons/vibration switch in the same spot as the CDMA phone..ahh I am so confused

Your AT&T iPhone 4 case will not fit on an iPhone 4S, regardless of what carrier you chose.

As I wrote above, only cases for the Verizon iPhone 4 will fit the iPhone 4S.

Anyone using dust plugs with this case? I ordered the red polished for the 4s, will be here on thursday. Does anyone know a plug that will fit, or if it is even needed.

Both phone and case (black acetyl bottom, matte dark grey top) will be here by Friday. I will post up some pics on fit and look for all of you guys.

By the looks of these cases... they are nice but don't really provide a resistance to getting dropped especially if it gets dropped on the screen right?

so based on this thread, the case creates minimal, but it still does...reception issues?
