I got a shipping notification from El13ctron at 1:30 am (CST) today. I guess that is 11:30 pm (yesterday) pacific time? They promised it would ship yesterday and I guess it did, just not until nearly midnight. I guess they were up late packing up and shipping out backorders?

Well it may have shipped before the exact hour you got that email. Often batches go out in the mail but it takes a bit for them to generate and send out confirmation emails. Especially if it sounds like a small store/company. Just a thought, who knows for sure though. I know I often get amazon shipped notices super late midnight etc, but it's already on the truck for that day.

When did you order and what color combo, I'm curious how long my wait might be if I ordered soon.
 
I've been following the forum for quite some time and had to join to share my experience.

I went through numerous threads looking for the right case for my phone. After much consideration and member feedback, I decided to order an E13ctron S4v case.

I ordered on 10/17/11. Excited to get my case, I waited a couple days for the shipping notification. Didn't get one, so I thought, let me send them a note, a day later, I receive a response, which as a customer, seemed more like an excuse (sorry its crazy here, only 3 of us, we don't have your color in stock).

So they don't have it in stock, what about an email indicating that? Update your website if possible. If I knew of another color in stock I might have ordered it!

I get another response my color will be in Friday (the 21st). Come Monday, still didn't get my tracking number. At this point, my credit card has been charged. I asked them on Tuesday, what the status of my order was. No response.

I have sent another note today, not sure if I'll get a response. I know from the reviews they make great cases and I really do want mine. But the lack of customer service is TERRIBLE from a business standpoint. My friend ordered an authentic graft case and even a knock off of some case from China AFTER I ordered my e13ctron case and he has them in his hand.

Why E13ctron can't respond to me is baffling. Before anyone says they are small and probably busy, I have personally run an internet company selling product to customers. I was half the operation and I know the importance of open communication with my customers no matter what the issue is, delays, inventory issues, etc. I ALWAYS talked to the customer in a PROMPT manner. I also didn't charge the customer until I had the product to ship. Once the item shipped, I sent tracking right away. There is nothing like knowing the customer is excited to get that tracking number and hitting refresh the day their item arrives.

I'm a flexible person and sure they are probably busy, but TELL ME, let me know that I'm not left high and dry. I still want my case but if I don't hear back soon, they'll be getting a charge back from my credit card company.

No, it's not the hybrid. I look for that, but they're all aluminum. And they have them for the GSM iP4 and the CDMA iP4/ iP4S. Mines for the 4S.

If you check out this sellers shop he has the regular e13ctron cases which are just for the GSM. Also, his Element vapor cases Are pretty highly recommended by the fake vapor case thread people.

I agree with c1pher about their lack of responsiveness. I understand working a small business, but when they're selling something this popular they should have someone answer emails like 3 times a day. If they had replied in a timely fashion to my emails (or at all actually) I would have scraped together the extra $ to buy it from them. I get a response usually within half an hour when I ask my Chinese knock off seller a question. Otherwise it's always within 24 hours. And I'm paying 1/3 the price..

Why must these cases have such addictingly good looks?!

agreed....underpromise and overdeliver. This company needs to learn.

The USPS tracking label says that the electronic shipping info was received today (my time) which means they only just printed the label when I got that email. So unfortunately it wasn't shipped yesterday like they said but they did create the label before midnight yesterday. Hopefully my case is on its way now.

It is a blue (matte) and black hybrid case by the way.
 
I didn't have any off the issues you guys have had with shipping and what not... went extremely smoothly for me... Love the feel of the case, well more of a bumper, but worth every last penny.

I got a FedEx notification (mind you STILL have not heard from them yet) and its only a electronic notification, it hasn't shipped according to FedEx.

is anyone also using dust plugs for their 30-pin port and headphone jack? I'm kind of paranoid about getting junk in these places since i'll be going from a Otterbox Commuter to this open bumper.

I got my shipping confirmation on the 26th, and it's been updating each day. Thought I'd get it by now since they're in Fresno, CA and I'm in Orange County..

Mine tracking number is not updated yet. It is 4 days passed and I am really mad at their service right now :((
