iPhone 16 Pro Max Easiest Pre-Order Ever!

i used the app, just let it sit there, tap tap tap boom apple pay apple balance out. less than a minute
[and no i did not save a preorder in advance, i just forgot to do it and i was like omg]

I haven’t ordered since the iPhone 13, but I was surprised at how easy this was. I did “Get Ready”. I killed and restarted the Apple Store app at exactly 7:00:00am CST and trusted the message on the screen to leave it open. About two minutes later the app advanced to the ordering screen and I was all done in about 20 seconds. Can’t ask for a smoother experience than that. I had two pre-orders to complete so I also had a the website open on my MacBook. The process there was similar, just a little slower. I could have completed both separately on the app faster than I was able to do one on the website.
 
Got into the store at 8:01 on my phone. Within minutes a had my preorder for my 16 Pro Max. Always do instore pickup.

BTW. Cases appear to be in store already. May not be a bad idea to see what Apple has on hand.

Something can still go wrong, particularly because of my local Apple store, I don't want to criticize, they've been known to botch things is the most diplomatic way I can put it, but it's 2 blocks from where I live so I will take ISPU any day over all the shipping/tracking fun.

ISPU as always. Fortunately my store doesn’t usually botch anything up.
