I'm going to give the Arcadia a try.

The feedback here has been great and for $2.95 shipped, it's worth a shot.

I bought the Arcadia tempered screen protector based on the feedback here and installed it. This is my first tempered screen protector and I have two issues:

  • The edges on the glass screen protector stick past the iPhone screen so the glass is not flush which results in dust getting in-between the actual screen and the tempered glass
  • Because the edges stick out, the proximity sensors have a halo effect or only half of the circular shap. It goes away when I push down the edges but the halo effect comes back

Other than the two issues, I don't think the Arcadia screen protector itself is bad but it is pretty annoying.

I [/QUOTE Strange mine fit really wellNo halo effect or bubbles! Really like it!

The seller made a change and now has a rounded cutout around the home button, which I much prefer. I added pics to the first post in the thread. This is a very nice piece of glass, if you're not interested in edge to edge. I've been super pleased with it.

I think I got the same one and for the same price, but mine is NewTrent branded http://www.newtrent.com/tempered-glass-screen-protector-acd27sw.html. Anyway, less than 12 hours of it being on, there is already a bunch of lint underneath the edges. I figured I'd give it a shot and use it temporarily while waiting for CINDER to ship. I agree, it is pretty annoying and I feel like ripping it off already. I guess I should have kept my non edge-to-edge on.

Those look really exact, which is nice. I actually just received a set of ten from the seller in your first post a couple weeks ago, I guess before the change. Even without the curve around the home button, coverage seemed pretty good. I couldn't get them on the phone without an overhang on each side, for some reason, which is odd because comparing them with the tech armor plastic protector I removed to try these out it seemed to be exactly the same size. Have you tried these on a phone with a black front? Maybe they just work better on the white glass, I don't know. Clarity and feel is great though. In short, I wish mine worked!

The prior revision seemed to be fine here on my white phone, but the new revision does work better and the edges are improved as well. First revision is good. Second much better.

One thing I have noticed on the second revision, if removing it leaves a residue. Not a residue you can't clean off, but one that takes a little cleaning to remove. Doesn't ruin anything. The glue seems way better on these and helps them stick perfectly.

Clarity, responsiveness are excellent. It's smooth and cleans easy as well.
