Ah, the good old UK.

I'm surprised they didn't make Apple put a warning label on the box that says that you might choke if you swallow your Watch.

Love, the country that bans Kinder Eggs.

Yeah, just forgot there is a public health system in the UK.

Nevertheless I'm quite sure you'd be yelled out of a public UK hospital if you got to the ER and told them your Watch said you're having an attack.

Quite the opposite. You would be seen by a doctor. A hospital isn't going to throw you out if you have concerns.

Apple isn't claiming or even suggesting that they can compete with professional lab equipment, so your sarcasm is unwarranted.

What are they "claiming?"

Nope, you dont even need a watch, you just walk in and say you're having an attack and you will be seen. Free of charge.

I thought it was already cleared by the FDA?

Approved and cleared mean different things. EKGs are Class II products. Class II products do not get approved, they get cleared.

Class rating is based on risk, not base on how effective products are.
