It's coming up for 15% again for me now which I guess is a good thing. Still waiting for it to go back to 25 or 30 though..
 
I got 8% back today, but it was instant cashback. I'm actually quite pleased, I'd gladly take $183 instantly instead of $200 and wait for 60 days... I know the two aren't related, but still...
 
well it hasn't gone this low before and the rest of live.com cashback offers are around 5-6% so it doesnt make sense that microsoft would shoot back up this huge discount again. Google a report that just came out that Microsoft gained no market share with this live.com promotion and was not profitable since everyone was buying computers with it so odds are they are done with it
 
damn microsoft!!! now they even removed the 8% cashback thing.........just when i was about to make a purchase tomorrow!!:mad:

i'm really pissed off....what should i do? should i purchase applecare anyway with the 10% xmas rebate from memorymate, or should i wait for another couple of weeks???

(btw, i am in no hurry with the warranty because i'm only getting my MBP in about 10 days.... but still, i'd like to get it over with as far as applecare is concerned, yet i'm worried whether the prices are going up in the weeks to follow etc...)

I would wait, you dont need applecare for aat least 9 months
 
meh, i don't care anymore..microsoft can go screw themselves, i just bought applecare for MBP off eBay for $161.99, i think i got a fair deal.....
 
To whomever said, umm... no. It did indeed work on the 17th. I purchased something with 8% off. It is no longer working. On the 17th, the only keyword I could get to work was 't-mobile sidekick'.
 
My purchases in November worked fine. I haven't been able to get anything to work in December and ebay no longer comes up on searches. I contacted both ebay and Microsoft cashback support and both of them pointed fingers at each other. You would think that if the promotion had ended that they would be honest and tell people about it. Completely ridiculous, completely Microsoft.
