Not a final price with tax but we do tax write off’s here so that tax money gets return to you. What the hell, the current 16” MacBook Pro is $2100 in the US education store, we are getting robbed here in AUS. 🤦♂️😡😂
Is that final pricing with tax?
Not in my experience with schools I’ve attended and worked for; in the US it’s a flat $100 discount on computers. Maybe it’s different depending on country/institution.I thought that the edu discount was a solid 10% and not a set dollar amount? My veteran’s discount is always 10%.
That’s the before taxes price. Not final price. Taxes are location dependent in the US. Where I live it’ll be an additional 8% plus a recycling fee. What the hell, the current 16” MacBook Pro is $2100 in the US education store, we are getting robbed here in AUS. 🤦♂️😡😂

Get the base model off the EDU site, you’ll have it on launch day.Trying to decide…which one values more… a delayed MacBook with education discount/10% or order it via an App and hope to get a launch delivery?
But that’s using Safari though! It’s slow. Isn’t it?Get the base model off the EDU site, you’ll have it on launch day.
Sometimes you have to believe & trust the process. 😁 make sure you’re logged into the store before they go up for preorders. But that’s using Safari though! It’s slow. Isn’t it?
I will try! Thank you. Otherwise I’m calling Apple to reimburse me. I forgot to add educational discount 😂Sometimes you have to believe & trust the process. 😁 make sure you’re logged into the store before they go up for preorders.

It’s a California tax fee levied on certain electronics purchases. Usually $4 or $5. https://www.cdtfa.ca.gov/taxes-and-fees/ewfaqsgen.htmRecycling fee for what? What are they recycling?
I am planning to buy upcoming MacBook Pro 16". I have a few questions, if any of you can answer them.
1. How much educational discount is available on MacBook Pro?
2. Will educational discount be available immediately as soon as it is released?
3. How can we order MBP using educational discount?
Huh? In the U.S. the base 16” MacBook Pro starts $200 off and you can save even more (10%) on subsequent storage / RAM / GPU upgrades. Most you’ll save with EDU discount is $100. Where are you getting $300-400??
I was looking at my institutional pricing. Seems there’s some differences I wasn’t aware of.Huh? In the U.S. the base 16” MacBook Pro starts $200 off and you can save even more (10%) on subsequent storage / RAM / GPU upgrades.
