Eipc Games Launcher - "Please Wait While We Start Your Update"

I play Fortnite on occasionally on my daughters 2017 iMac 27" and can't seem to get the launcher to boot up. Keeps giving me this message with an orange triangle and exclamation mark and never leaves from this. One day I was playing, no issues then all of a sudden this happens. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. Any ideas?

One night I had that happen, where it basically refused to finish launching. The next day it was back to normal. So you uninstalled it, downloaded another copy of the Epic Store online, installed and it would not update?

I must have uninstalled and reinstalled four times over the weekend. Let me give it a try tonight now that it's been almost a week and I'll circle back.

I threw in the towel and installed Windows 10/Boot Camp. Have had no issues playing Fortnite via Boot Camp. So frustrating that MacOS decided to act up.

You’ll probably get better game performance Under Windows.
